Which countries can I use?ما الدول المتاحة؟
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Egypt. You must be 18 or older. Other Gulf countries are listed in the app as coming soon.

Does Mahfaza move money from my bank?هل ينقل محفظة أموالاً من بنكي؟
No — and that's by design. Logging spending never moves bank money. Paying a registered merchant happens inside the app, in the same country, and you type the amount yourself. Mahfaza is not a bank, wallet issuer, or bill-pay service.

No, never. Optional bank suggestions use notifications from selected bank and wallet apps only, and only if you turn that on — nothing is saved as an expense until you personally approve it.

How do I pay a merchant?كيف أدفع لتاجر؟
Tap Pay, then enter their CR, scan a QR, or pick them from Shop. Choose an account and payment method, type the amount, confirm with PIN. Same country only. There is no transfer fee on merchant pay. Step-by-step: How to pay a merchant.

What are categories and subcategories?ما الفئات والفئات الفرعية؟
They're what turn a pile of expenses into an answer to “where does my money actually go?” A category is a group of spending, such as Food, Transport, or Bills. A subcategory is the detail inside that group — Groceries and Restaurants under Food, or Fuel and Taxi under Transport. Each account has its own list you can add to, rename, or delete. How do I keep warranties, invoices, and receipts?كيف أحفظ الضمانات والفواتير والإيصالات؟
Never dig through a drawer for a warranty card again. Open Documents from the dashboard, create a folder for warranties and another for invoices, photograph or upload the file, then name it and add notes. Attach a receipt to an expense as you log it, or leave the file in Documents. Deleting a folder permanently deletes what's inside it. Step-by-step: How to use Documents.

How do gift cards work?كيف تعمل بطاقات الهدية؟
Skip the trip to buy a physical gift card. Send a themed one to another Mahfaza user in the same country, and they spend it as a payment method. Merchants can also issue gift cards that redeem only at that business.
وفّر رحلة شراء بطاقة هدية ورقية. أرسل بطاقة هدية بتصميم جاهز لمستخدم محفظة في نفس البلد، ويصرفها كطريقة دفع. ويمكن للتجار أيضاً إصدار بطاقات تُصرف عند ذلك النشاط فقط.
I forgot my PIN. What do I do?نسيت رمز PIN. ماذا أفعل؟
On the sign-in screen, use Forgot PIN and confirm your date of birth on that device. Use the same country and ID as when you registered.

Do customers pick items from a cart?هل يختار العميل منتجات من سلة؟
Shop lets customers browse your catalog and find you. They still type the amount when they pay. There is no cart checkout in the live app.

No. You upload customer loyalty balances so they can see them in the app. Points are not added automatically on each payment.
